    Olivia is the daughter of our dear departed friend and former Aston Villa player Paul Birch who succumbed to Cancer in 2009 and she will be running the ‘Race for Life’ on 16th June to raise money for Cancer Research.

  • Chris Price returns to the Villa Fold

    Chris Price made a welcome return from Australia to the Aston Villa Old Stars team in a feisty encounter at Chasetown FC against Crown Cutting XI. Putting in a great shift after his recent adventures 'down under' Chris showed he still has the fantastic appetite for getting forward from his full back berth mostly through the incisive passes of Cowans & Kinsella. Going down to 2-0 after an hour Villa showed the character and desire to level through a Martin Carruthers double and almost notch victory at the death when Carruthers was through but failed to hit the target.
